To say, “I’m a book junkie” is putting it mildly. Before my EnVibe Life journey, I mostly read fiction. I haven’t given that up. I still like to read fiction at night before bedtime. Now that I’ve begun this deep dive into living EnVibe, I’ve found a new addiction, “self-help/spiritual” books. Reading at night doesn’t work so well when I’m trying to understand and retain the information. So, I had to figure something else out. This was when I discovered Audible! Most people get to listen to their audiobooks in the car, but I don’t have much of a commute, so I had to get creative in finding the time to listen to my books. You can usually find me listening to audiobooks first thing in the morning while I’m washing my face, brushing my teeth, doing my make-up and hair. I also have my earbuds in while I’m doing laundry and cooking. By squeezing my audiobooks in during my daily task, I can take in a lot of content in a little bit of time. Listening to these books first thing in the morning puts me in the right frame of mind to take on the world with an “EnVibe Mindset.”
EnVibe Mindset
Staying present, coming from a heart-centered place with all my interactions and choices, noticing my triggers, figuring out where my triggers are coming from, and making a conscious choice to do better.
